Cheer Extreme Sanford wins titles in Nashville
Cheer Extreme Sanford traveled to compete at Opryland Hotel in Nashville for the first time in gym history last weekend, competing in the Cheer Nationals at Opryland.
With the theme of "We're Here to Rock your Country" Cheer Extreme Sanford did just that and put Sanford on the map. The Cheer Nationals was a two-day competition with over 100 teams in attendance.
Cheer Extreme won a first-place finish in Senior 3, a first-place finish in Youth 3 and a second-place finish in Senior 4.
Cheer Extreme's Senior 2 team, Rage, won first place in its division and won the Level Two grand championship beating out 25 other teams.
It was a successful way to start the new year for Cheer Extreme Sanford. The teams head to Raleigh this weekend to compete in a Maximum Competition at Broughton High School.
