Pullum gets Jackets going for win at Gray's Creek

Lee County's defense held strong as the Yellow Jacket offense sputtered early on in the Jackets' conference opening football game at Gray's Creek Friday night. Shortly thereafter, Jacket running back Jerry Pullum took care of the slow start.

Bunnell, Times help Cavs run by Douglas Byrd, 32-12

Southern Lee senior running back Patrick Bunnell scored three touchdowns and sophomore quarterback Ishios Times ran and threw for over 100 yards in both categories pacing the Cavaliers (4-2, 1-0 CFVC) to a 32-12 victory over winless, yet defending Cape Fear Valley champion, Douglas Byrd (0-6, 0-1 CFVC) Friday night.
