BROADWAY — William Lindsey “Bill” Oldham, 89, of Broadway, died Friday (09/10/21) at his home.
He was born in Chatham County, son of Burnice Butler Oldham and Ethel May Oldham. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymond Oldham, Exon Oldham, Melvin Oldham, Earl Oldham, Reggie Oldham, Douglas Oldham, Don Oldham, and Floyd Oldham; and sisters Evon Gilliam, Mabel Cole and Peggy Spivey.
Bill was the owner of Bill’s Body Shop and Auto Sales and was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving is his wife, Gloria Mills Oldham of the home; daughters Donna M. Oldham Fogleman (Henry) and Stephanie Dalrymple (Jeff), all of Sanford; sons Edwin L. Oldham (Debbie), S. Warren Oldham and W. Alan Oldham (Jamie), all of Sanford and Jason Phillips (Amanda) of Camden, South Carolina; a sister, Joyce O. Martin of Bonlee, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bethany Baptist Church cemetery in Gulf with Pastor Patrick Daniel officiating.
