No. 1-seeded (1A West) Victory Center Christian (19-7) rolled to a win the NCISAA 1A state quarterfinals Friday at No. 4 Lee Christian.

The Falcons end the season winning one state tournament game, 59-22 vs. Southside Christian, and with an 8-8 overall record.

United Faith Christian 94, Grace Christian 60

No. 2 United Faith Christian (17-3) beat No. 3 Grace Christian in the NCISAA 1A quarterfinals in Charlotte Friday night.

United Faith Christian led 51-35 at halftime.

The Crusaders end the season as the Mid-Carolina Conference Tournament champs and 17-14 overall.

Pinecrest 67, Lumberton 52

No. 1 Pinecrest (12-1) beat No. 2 Lumberton to win the Sandhills Athletic Conference Tournament Friday night in Southern Pines.

Pinecrest hosts Southeast Raleigh in the first round of the NCHSAA 4A State Tournament at 7 p.m. tonight.

Chatham Central 55, Uwharrie Charter 46

The Bears (9-1, 7-1) won their regular season finale in Bear Creek Friday night; finishing second in the Yadkin Valley and getting a state tournament berth. Chatham Central plays at Hiwassee Dam in the first round of the NCHSAA 1A tourney at 7 p.m. tonight.

Chatham Charter 51, North Rowan 46

The Knights (12-1) finished their regular season with a non-conference win in Spencer Friday night. Adam Harvey scored 20 points to lead the Knights while Trevor Golden scored 10 points and Aamir Mapp had nine points.

Chatham Charter, the Central Tar Heel champion, hosts Mountain Island Charter in the first round of the NCHSAA 1A State Tournament at 6 p.m. this evening.

Girls basketball

Lee County 32, Southern Lee 14

The Lady Yellow Jackets capped their season taking a county-rivalry sweep against Southern Lee Friday night. Lee County (3-8, 3-7) won the first rivalry game 46-22 earlier in the month.

Union Pines 65, Western Harnett 30

The Lady Vikings (11-1, 9-1) clinched the Tri-County 6 Conference championship with a home victory Friday night.

Forward Aaliyah Balser led UP with 25 points, 10 rebounds and five steals. Emily Bowbliss added 17 points, five steals and three blocks.

Union Pines, a No. 1 seed in the NCHSAA 3A State Tournament, hosts Person at 7 p.m. tonight.

Harnett Central 51, Triton 38

The Lady Trojans (9-2) topped their county rival to close the regular season, finish second in the Tri-County 6, and get into the state tournament Friday night. Harnett Central led 26-9 at halftime. Center Syniah McMiller had 19 points and five blocks for HC while Brittany Mills had 15 points, six steals and four assists.

Harnett Central plays at Eastern Alamance in the first round of the 3A state tournament at 7 p.m. tonight.

Chatham Charter 48, Clover Garden 45

The Lady Knights (8-2) beat Clover Garden in a one-game playoff for the Central Tar Heel Conference championship Friday night.

Chatham Charter advances into the NCHSAA 1A State Tournament and plays at Robbinsville at 7 p.m. tonight.

Senior Morgan Lineberry led Chatham Charter with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Rebecca McGaughnea had 11 points and 12 rebounds. Alexis Baldwin had 10 points and six boards.

Uwharrie Charter 47, Chatham Central 27

Uwharrie Charter beat the Lady Bears (4-4) in a YVC game, to finish the Lady Bear season, Friday night.

Jack Britt 64, Pinecrest 24

No. 1 Jack Britt beat No. 3 Pinecrest (9-5) to win the SAC Tournament final Friday night. Pinecrest made the 4A state tournament and hosts South View in the first round at 5 p.m. this evening.

Boys lacrosse

Pinecrest 25, Terry Sanford 0

Pinecrest (6-1) routed Terry Sanford for the second time this season in Southern Pines Friday night. Freshmen Weston Thomson and Gavin Laton tallied six goals apiece for the Patriots.

Henry Rust scored three goals. Ben Wolfe and Logan Laton scored two goals each.

Pinecrest plays at Cape Fear at 6 p.m. this evening.
